Does telecommuting make employees better? SXSW panelist says yes

When: 3:30 p.m. March 14.
Where: Courtyard Marriott (across from the Austin Convention Center) 2nd Floor, Rio Grande B. 500 E. Cesar Chavez St.
Who: Open to registered SXSW Interactive attendees.

She cites benefits of working at home you’ve probably experienced yourself if you’ve been able to work remotely: You avoid the time and stress of a commute, as well as the distractions of co-workers stopping by your cubicle to ask questions (or just annoying you with yet another loud personal phone call at their desks).

But Wallace — who’s based in the Columbus, Ohio, area and will be speaking at the South by Southwest Interactive Conference and Festival on March 14 — also mentions something that you (and your boss) might not have considered.

Hey Jayna! Amazing talk at SXSW on Sunday. I recorded the whole thing on my tiny hand-held camera, and it's posted on the LifeSize Communications facebook page: http://bit.ly/a2Jm0R Could you perhaps post this and encourage people to share it? I want to make sure everyone that was there or wanted to be there gets to see it! Thanks!
